I went to visit my friend Rachel and we decided to meet somewhere in the middle for us both. I live in Massachusetts and she lives in Connecticut, so we picked Southwicks Zoo as a middle ground. We figured her kids would like it and we were right! Steven was not a fan of the smell of the animals, but still had a good time checking out the giraffes. Alaina was just taking it all in. It was a great day! Here are some shot from the day.
We celebrated my nephews 1st birthday and Ronan had a blast opening all his presents! He got a few outfits, a whole library of books; some great classics we read when we were little, and a fun walker toy.
Recently my sister Taylor drove down to Massachusetts with our mum and her little boy Ronan, and we had his first birthday party at my house. We had a delicious Greek lunch from a local place, had him open all his presents, and then we decided to give him his own cake and see what he would do! The results are pretty darn cute, if I say so myself.
Last summer, we took the O'Roak boys and the Jetts to the Grey Animal Farm. I had actually never been myself so it was fun to watch the kids experience it.
My sister had me down for a second set of newborn pictures for her son Ronan, about a week or so after his first set and I am sorry to say it has taken me this long to update the blog with the shots from that shoot. Hope you enjoy my adorable nephew. Ronan will actually be turning one soon so I'll add a newer phone snap of him so you can all see just how adorable he is!!
Rachael & PJ were married in Harpswell Maine, on a beautiful day in their backyard surrounded by family, friends, games, adorable children and a few dogs too! Here is a sneak of their day! More to come!
Little Ronan, was born March 24th at 11:20pm! He is beautiful and perfect! I am so excited to be an auntie. I took very few photos at the hospital but I did go up a few times to get some newborn shots. I'll slowly be updating and adding them as I edit them! Here's the first batch of photos!
My younger sister Taylor's baby shower was recently held at Ri-Ra's in Portland. We had so much fun with the fox decorations and gold and blue color scheme. We played some fun games and ate some delicious good. The cupcakes from Nothing Bakes Like a Parrot were amazing! Here are some shots from the day!
ERIN, EMMA'S FRIEND, ALSO NEEDED SOME SENIOR PICTURES TAKEN SO WE MET AT PINELAND FARMS ON A SOMEWHAT CLOUDY DAY WITH A CHANCE OF RAIN. WE WANDERED AROUND THE GROUNDS AND FOUND SOME PRETTY SPOTS. WE EXPLORED THE GARDENS AND FOUND SOME GREAT BACKDROPS. WE FINISHED UP JUST BEFORE THE SUN BEGAN TO LOWER FROM THE SKY, AND NO RAIN! YAY!
FOR EMMA'S SESSION WE MET AT PINELAND FARMS IN MAINE. WE SPENT A COUPLE HOURS WALKING THE PROPERTY LOOKING FOR PRETTY SPOTS TO TAKE HER SENIOR PHOTOS. IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL DAY OUT, THE AIR WAS WARM, BUT THE SUN WAS LOWER IN THE SKY AND MADE FOR SOME GREAT CAPTURES.
